I go to Universal Studios Orlando a lot but had never been to Pat O’Brien’s. It is a replica of a famed Louisiana bar, with Cajun eats, drinks, and dueling pianos. I saw an opening for a reservation and jumped on it! I am glad I got to finally try it. The food was delicious, and the live music was amazing! The experience was thoroughly entertaining.
The bar had some interesting drinks, including specialty cocktails and draft cocktails. I opted for the Typhoon (Three Olives vodka, Chambord, peach schnapps, cranberry, and pineapple juice).
We didn’t have any appetizers since we had a bit too much to eat right before at Universal’s Mardi Gras stands (blog post coming soon).
For dinner, I had the Creole Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavored! My sister had the Cajun Shrimp & Grits(GF), which was apparently also really good.

I guess we were still hungry (or wanted to continue enjoying the dueling pianos) because we had both of their desserts – Bag O’ Beignets and Bread Pudding. The Beignets were not as good as the ones in the park, but the bread pudding was amazing.

I had a great night at Pat O’Brien’s. The live music was the cherry on top. The dueling pianists did a great job taking requests and playing a variety of songs.
I cannot wait to go back!
