It is about TIME we get this in Miami! As Miami New Times said, it is “Nirvana for eaters.”
Smorgasburg is the largest weekly open-air food market in America, attracting thousands of people to Brooklyn, Manhattan, Jersey City, Los Angeles, and now Miami, each weekend, to eat from hundreds of local vendors.
Smorgasburg Miami is open every Saturday from 11am-6pm at 2600 NW 2nd Avenue, right across from the Wynwood Walls! For those that hate parallel parking, there is a parking lot nearby that you can park at.
During my visit, San Pellegrino was giving away free drinks – great for battling the heat! Stay hydrated, folks.
I had some great eats (& iced coffee) while at the popular food market. I recommend going early. The later you go, the more packed it will get. Make sure to snag a table when you get there so you have a shady spot to eat.

I cannot wait to go back and try even more of the food stands! Trust me, there is something for everyone to eat here. They offer plenty of vegan plant-based options, as well as gluten-free options. For example, there are vegan arepas and gluten-free empanadas (pictured above)!
In all honesty, I loved everything I had. The tacos from Wolf of Tacos were delicious; The empanadas were one of the best (if not the best) cheese ones I have had; the fries were perfectly crunchy; and the buns were scrumptious (I liked the lamb ones more).
Until next time!
