The objective of the night was not to end up at Kush in Coconut Grove, but that is what happened and I am not upset about it. This was my first time at this Kush location. I do not believe it was just my hunger that led me to loving everything I devoured here.
I had the “Miami Sound Machine” (Skyy Vodka, Chambord, Pineapple) as my cocktail. It was visually appealing and smooth.
For appetizer, I had the Florida Alligator Bites. The popular starter came with a creamy garlic sauce and cocktail sauce. The alligator bites were a great way to start our dining experience.
For dinner, I was immediately sold on the Bababooey Burger (Brie Cheese, Caramelized Apples, Bacon, Grilled Onions, Honey Mustard, Challah Bun). The burger was perfect. I loved the mix of flavors! As my side I, of course, opted for the sweet potato fries.
I loved all the art and funny decor at the restaurant. I couldn’t resist snapping shots of some of them.

When it came time to pay, the receipt was given in a DVD. It was this exchange that taught me Edward Norton played the Hulk in a movie.
I did not get to try the dessert at Kush – but I did, however, walk over to Salt & Straw for ice cream. I loved their vegan options!
I must admit that as I write this, I am seriously craving that scrumptious burger.
Until next time,
Caylin
