For Mother’s Day we decided to dine at our beloved Basilico. I rarely eat Italian food – but when I do, Basilico is the go-to. They make my absolute favorite pasta dish (and I went to Rome & Venice) – it is called Ravioli di Gorgonzola e Pera con Salsa di Fico (Fatti in Casa); the blend of the pears, figs and gorgonzola cheese is unlike anything I have encountered. I must point out that all of their ingredients are fresh and you can tell.
We are always disappointed with our Mother’s Day dinners, but we weren’t this time!
