American Icon Brewery – Vero Beach, FL

It was my first night in Vero Beach and American Icon Brewery was the restaurant of choice for dinner. I found the brewery to be rather large and set up in an appealing industrial style.

Since it is a brewery, I had to try the beer! To start, I had a red ale that I cannot remember the name of. Honestly, it was pretty forgettable. It did not have the aftertaste I love from drinking reds.

For appetizer, we had the Icon Pretzel. The pretzel was great and so was the IPA mustard it came with.

American Icon Brewery has some pretty iconic flights. The flight came with 6 glasses that were pretty big and filled to the brim. The flight contained Strawberry Shortcake, Americon Blonde, Florida Heat, Freedom Torch, Power Plant, and 1926 Hef. Out of those, the Freedom Torch Milk Stout was my favorite.

For dinner, I had one of the best burgers – The Goat! The sweet potato fries were also scrumptious (they were even good the next day).

When I am back in the area, I will be returning here!
