I wanted to also share some pictures and insight on my weekend in the Universal Orlando Resort.
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on International Drive, therefore I was able to get into the park an hour early (great perk for rides and pictures!).
I got to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure 3 times during the trip and I was really happy about that. The ride is incredible and there are great picture spots leading up to the ride. If you are a thrill seeker, I recommend hopping into the motorbike, because you feel everything a lot more than in the side car. I realized that each time I rode it I noticed something new in the ride; it is hard to note all the details when you are enjoying yourself! So, by all means, enjoy yourself but also take in all the magical Harry Potter elements.
I highly recommend checking the app periodically for virtual line spots. Do not give up if you miss it at first – new spots will open up. I passed the time by getting a much needed Guinness at Finnegan’s (Fish and Chips not pictured but surely was devoured).
Oh, and I did not miss my opportunity to drink a frozen butterbeer (which if you have not had it yet, you should).
I hate myself for not getting a picture before I ate it, but the unique ice cream flavours from Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour are a must! I had a scoop of the Earl Grey & Lavender and a scoop of the Chocolate Chili.
I rode the Hogwarts Express to travel from park to park several times, and it was a joy each and every time.
Here are some more photos from my visit:
I thoroughly enjoyed my time and cannot wait until I can go back! I always feel at home in the Harry Potter universe.
