I had the pleasure of checking out Brickell’s first karaoke bar, Sweet Caroline, during Labor Day weekend. I went on a Friday and it was jam packed. The cute and cozy bar has a great location and although it is new, it is already a favorite. It has been featured on Deco Drive, Timeout Miami, and Hoodline.

 

The karaoke bar has a wide selection of songs to choose from and between breaks they showed a variety of music videos to keep everyone hyped up. The overall vibe was positive, entertaining and lively. On the down side, the place is extremely tight with an awkward layout, leaving little room for tables and seating areas.

 

Sweet Caroline is not just a karaoke bar – it is a karaoke bar WITH weekly events! Every Tuesday is comedy night (beginning at 9PM), featuring local working comedians, open mic, special guest appearances, and 2-for-1 drink specials during showtime. Karaoke is available Wednesday to Saturday. To top it off, every Wednesday is ladies night and ladies drink free!

 

I would definitely go again, maybe even on ladies night!

 

Was it even a successful karaoke night if you didn’t sing Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing? I think not.
